Who we are

Bliss Social is a marketplace that connects brands with creators for branded content. It's run by Bliss Social Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17439719), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. We're the data controller for the information described here. Any privacy question, write to us at hello@blisssocial.co.

What we collect

It depends on who you are. From creators we collect your name and contact details, your profile (bio, niches, location, social handles, portfolio), the banking details you give us so you can be paid, and the content you deliver. From brands we collect your contact details, your company profile (name, website, billing address), your campaign briefs, and your saved card. From everyone we collect the messages you send through Bliss and basic technical data needed to run the service securely.

Why we use it

To run the marketplace. That means reviewing applications, matching creators with campaigns, handling briefs and deliverables, taking payment from brands, paying creators, raising invoices, and keeping in touch about your account and your work. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything you wouldn't expect from a service like this.

Payments and card details

Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment provider. Bliss never stores full card numbers; Stripe processes them and we keep only what we need to run the charge and show you a receipt. Creator bank details are stored so Bliss can pay creators for approved work.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that make Bliss work, namely Stripe (payments) and Supabase (our secure database and storage). Brands and creators see what a campaign needs them to see, never each other's private account data. We may share information if the law requires it. We never sell it.

Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you), to meet our legal obligations (for example, keeping invoice records), and, where it applies, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account with us, and afterwards only as long as we need to, for example to keep the invoice and tax records UK law requires. When we no longer need your data, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and you can object to some uses or ask us to restrict them. You can opt out of non-essential emails whenever you like. To exercise any of this, email hello@blisssocial.co. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
